• To implement Hospital rules and regulations applicable to nursing staff, in accordance with the hospital policies which includes, nursing care, working hours, code of conduct, uniform, reporting system, appraisal, increment, promotion, salary etc.
• To develop the nursing man power planning and to identify requirement of nursing personnel in various department.
• To conduct interview for nurses and allocate nursing staff in various departments.
• To organize On the Job Training, Continuous Nursing Education(CNE) and Orientation/Induction programs.
• To maintain registers and records as required by the regulatory, Statutory and accreditation bodies.
• To approve & monitor duty roster, attendance, and leave of nursing dept.
• To prepare duty roster for supervisors.
• Coordination of nursing quality indicators, patient safety program and risk management.
• To make regular hospital round.
• To maintain discipline and handle grievances of nursing staff.

Qualification: B.Sc Nursing
