SERVITE COLLEGE OF NURSING, a Catholic institution of higher education for women, is run by the Congregation of Mother of Sorrows, Servants of Mary. This order is an indigenous Congregation. It was started in the year 1854. Its services extend to Australia, Italy, Myanmar and Philippines and is Pontifical in status. Mother Mary at the foot of the Cross, symbolizing women’s involvement and is the patron of the Congregation. True to its ideals it works for the education and empowerment of women and children in many different areas.

The Servite College of Nursing is one of the Many Institutions run by our Congregation. In the spirit of Jesus Christ whose healing ministry is continued for the whole human family, this college aims to empower young women to cater to the health needs of the society by training them as health professionals.
